This hands-on workshop begins with string making, then introduces Looping and Coiling as methods to construct vessels from humble rags. Experiment and cross-pollination are central to the process, with different approaches to stitching and shaping addressed as we go along. These techniques lend themselves to sculptural outcomes, so a plethora of designs and applications tend to suggest themselves the more broadly we think.
