Ilka’s classes reflect a contemporary use of traditional textile methods and a love of making by hand. Ilka taught Weaving, Textile History, Crafts in Society and Contemporary Art & Design at RMIT University for many years and now works throughout Australia as a teacher and arts facilitator. She's a great believer in the capacity of beauty and creativity to lift our collective spirits. Alongside public classes, Ilka has also tailored workshops to the needs of private groups.
