Explore the challenge & potential of Double Weave structures via a round robin. Warps devoted to pockets, tubes, channels, books, double width cloth & pleats. Each sample will have 2 warps & selection of pedaling options, multiple colours or co-ordinating solids will be used with a variety of yarns & setts. Learn the theory of 8 shaft 2 block double weave & how to design your own structures. These principles offer great possibilities for innovative woven cloth or artworks. Participants need to supply their own 8 shaft table & be able to warp up a loom & weave.
