Hello everyone!
The season of mellow fruitfulness is cooling here in Melbourne. My Autumn highlights included Ceres’ sustainability road trip through regional Victoria & NSW, listening to stories of people, plants and places. Also pitching Martien van Zuilen’s marvellous Alachikh (Iranian nomadic tent) on the Merri Creek and enjoying it’s capacity as a beautiful community space.
My works continue their own sojourns on tours and in exhibitions here and there. See below for shows in Tweed NSW and Castlemaine VIC.
I’ll soon be in Alice Springs for a couple of months teaching weaving at Central Craft and working with the Yarrenyty Arltere Textile artists of Larapinta Valley.
I’ve listed a host of upcoming classes below for your enjoyment – feel free to pass on to others!
Best Autumn wishes,
Ilka
